At the behest of Proton Pros, this updated iteration was made slightly lighter, with the weight dropping from 8.0-ounces down to 7.8-ounces to enhance reload speed and manueverability during fiesty hand battles.
Also updated on the Proton Series One Type A Square 11mm Player Model Pickleball Paddle is the 11mm Proton Polypropylene Honeycomb core. This core adds even more poppy power to the original, without hurting the linger time, cushion, and expanded sweet spot that the original provided. Returning triumphently to Players edition is the 10.5” by 8.25” NanoTac treated Carbon Fiber hitting surface, that not only earns the Type A its standard or “square” title, but helps in bringing a level of control. This control comes from the NanoTac texture that is integrated into the carbon fiber before construction to ensure it is not damaged from daily use, allowing us to trust it to grip the ball while it dwells on the rigid face for consistent spin.

- Economy, orders $75 and up: free, 5–8 business days

We ship to 26 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and most of Europe. International rates are calculated at checkout through DHL Express and USPS international services. Duties and taxes for your country are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Our return policy
We want you to buy with confidence. If you are not happy with your order, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
Eligibility
- Items must be new, unused, unmodified, and in their original packaging with all tags, accessories, and manuals included.
- Paddles: once a paddle has hit a ball or been played with, it is considered used and cannot be returned, unless it arrived defective or damaged.
- Shoes: you may try them on indoors on a clean, dry surface. Shoes worn outdoors or on a court cannot be returned. The original shoe box must remain undamaged and must be packed inside a separate shipping box, never used as the shipping carton itself.
- Only items purchased directly from Sir Pickleball are eligible for return.
Return authorization required
Email michael@sirpickleball.com with your name, order number, and the reason for your return before sending anything back. Items returned without authorization cannot be accepted.
Who pays return shipping
- Change of mind: you pay for return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Our mistake or a defect: if we shipped the wrong item, or your item arrived damaged or defective, we cover the return shipping.
Refunds
We inspect every return. Once your return is approved, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 5 business days, based on the price you actually paid.
Final sale items
Items marked Final Sale on their product page cannot be returned, except when they arrive damaged or defective. Regular sale and promotional items are returnable like any other item.
Damaged or defective items
Please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Most paddles also carry a manufacturer warranty, and we are happy to help you navigate it after the return window.

- Returns sent without authorization
- Used, worn, modified, damaged, or incomplete items
- Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery
- Abuse of this policy, such as excessive returns or deliberately damaged items, may result in future returns being refused.
